Junk Cleaner: Storage Cleanup (vn.fighttech.junkcleaner) · Last updated 30 September 2026
This translation is provided for convenience; the English version prevails.
Junk Cleaner is built by FightTech. The short version: your files stay on your phone, there are no ads, and there is no account.
What stays on your device
To find junk, duplicates, similar photos and large files, the app reads the file names, sizes and contents of files on your phone. This happens only on your device, only when you open a tool. Nothing about your files — names, contents, thumbnails or the results of a scan — is uploaded or shared. Removed files go to a Trash inside the app, which also stays on your device.
Permissions
- All files access / storage access — to scan for junk, duplicates and large files and to let you browse and manage files. Used on your device only.
- Installed apps list — to show app sizes and let you uninstall apps. Used on your device only.
- Internet — used by the speed test, and by optional analytics and crash reports if you switch them on.
The speed test
When you press Start in the speed test, the app downloads and uploads random test data to Cloudflare’s public speed test server (speed.cloudflare.com). No file names, file contents or personal information are sent. Cloudflare sees your IP address as any website does; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Analytics and crash reports (off by default)
Anonymous usage statistics (Firebase Analytics) and crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) are off until you turn them on in Settings. If you turn them on, Google receives anonymous events such as which screen was opened and technical details of a crash (device model, Android version, app version). They never include your files. You can turn them off again at any time.
No ads, no account, no purchases
The app contains no advertising and does not use the advertising ID. You do not create an account, and there is nothing to buy.
Children
The app is a general utility and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
Junk Cleaner for Mac (Mac App Store edition)
This section covers the Mac app. It has no account and no sign-in, it never uploads the names or contents of your files, and it has no ads and no tracking.
What the app reads
To find junk, the app scans the folder you choose (normally your home folder) through the standard macOS permission panel. It reads file names, sizes and dates and, for Duplicate Finder and Similar Photos, compares file content or image features on your Mac. Results are shown only to you and are not sent anywhere. Items you clean are moved to the Trash. Settings, the folder permission (a security-scoped bookmark) and a small storage history stay in the app’s own sandbox on your Mac.
Analytics and crash reports (off by default)
Usage analytics and crash reports are off until you turn them on, in the intro or in Account & Pro > Privacy. If you do, the app sends through Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics: crash reports, which screens and tools are used, rounded sizes and counts, the app version, macOS version, language and a random app-instance identifier. It never sends file names, paths or contents, your name, your e-mail or your Apple ID. This data is not linked to you and is not used for tracking or advertising. You can turn it off at any time; the identifier is then reset.
Purchases
Junk Cleaner Pro is a Mac App Store in-app purchase (one-time or subscription). Apple handles payment and gives the app only the purchase status; we receive no payment details and no identity. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.
Sharing, widgets and your choices
We do not sell or share personal data; Firebase (Google) is our processor for the optional analytics above. The app shares a few numbers (free space, reclaimable size) with its own widgets through an app group on your Mac; nothing leaves the Mac. Turn analytics off in Account & Pro > Privacy, change or revoke the folder permission in the app or in System Settings > Privacy & Security, and delete the app to remove its local data. The Mac app is not directed at children.
